Nova Métis Heritage Association's Board has resolved to fore-go our delayed 2020 Annual General Meeting, and in its stead, will submit a report to our members, available on our website, and sent to those on our e-mailinglist.
The annual report will be released shortly.
This is also a preliminary Notice, that our 2021 AGM is being planned to occur in late November or early December.
Nova Metis Heritage Association is deferring our 2020 AGM until sometime next year.
The Nova Métis Heritage Association Board of Directors has moved, and hereby gives Notice, to defer the 2020 Annual General Meeting (AGM) until sometime before November 1st, 2021, as empowered by the Registrar of Companies for BC Societies (1).
The response to CoViD-19 in 2020 has effected us in many ways, and this year has seen many challenges for Nova Métis. We considered the effort to host a digital / virtual / Online AGM, and found our time, effort, and resources would be insufficient at this time.

Thank You to all those that joined us at our finish-line picnic in celebrating our Nova Metis walking group's completion of the 10K walking program. Walk was great, amongst the refreshing trees of Green Timbers park, and the food was well met and devoured ;). A special thank you to all our volunteers and to our walk leader and event coordinator Kerry Marion. The T-shirts were superb and a nice reward.
We are hoping and planning to do this again next year, so keep in touch to join our walking group in January of 2017 to work your way to a 10 kilometre walk, you will enjoy the challenge.
Nova Metis walking group is also going to try to keep it up during the rest of the year, and plan 1h exertions to parks and places around Surrey to continue the fun, every 2 to 3 weeks on a weekday evening depending on schedules of those involved.
